Charity Golf Tournament Benefits Homeless Families in Atlanta

Kimberly-Clark Corporation’s Cooperative Education and Interns Program Raises More Than $9,000 to Benefit the Atlanta Children’s Shelter ATLANTA (August 27, 2005) – Kimberly-Clark Corporation’s Cooperative Education and Interns program hosted the second annual Charity Golf Tournament on August 6, 2005. Tournament proceeds and monetary donations, totaling more than $9,000, went to the Atlanta Children’s Shelter to benefit homeless children in Atlanta. As a way to give back to the community, the interns and staff at Kimberly-Clark Corporation’s Cooperative Education program hosted a charity golf tournament. The tournament was held at the Country Land Golf Course in Cumming, Georgia and attracted more than 115 participants.
